How to set up your smartphones for the first time by Work-IT ?
1. Create google account for the Google play store.

2. WI-Fi on smartphones must be switched on at all times, otherwise the phone will not communicate with Work-IT

3. Set Screen Lock Type on None
4. Turn off Report diagnostic info.

5. Turn on NFC and Payment.
6. Set Screen timeout to After 2 or 5 minutes of inactivity
1- Open
Settings.
2- Tap on
Display.
3- Tap on
Screen timeout.
4- Tap on
2 or
5 to choose it.
7. Set the Volume fully up for:
Ringtone -
Media -
Notifications -
System
1- Open
Settings.
2- Tap on
Sounds and vibration.
3- Tap on
Volume.
4- Volume fully up for all.
8. Locking the apps
There are two ways to lock the screen on the smartphones
First: Use
Screen Pinning in Android
(Android 5.0 and higher)
Please follow instructions on the website below.
Second: use an app from play store.
You can also use another way to lock the apps in Android by using any available App lock app.
9. Setting up Scan-IT app:
First - settings in
Work-IT
software
1-
Employees.
2-
Application profiles.
3- Click on
QR code generator.
4- Choose a name for the service ( for example
Mobile)
5- Fill the right URL with the IP address of the Work-IT server PC.

ip address /Workitservice
This is the static IP address of the Work-IT which have the database and NiteaService installed
6- Select the option
Renew Masterdata Daily
With the information service name and URL filled in you can scan the QR code
Make screen capture of the window with the QR code, so you can easily connect new phones
Second - setting up Scan-IT app
Download the HGM Scan-IT app from the Google Playstore , use the search bar and use the words
"HGM Scan-IT " to find the app
Make sure that during setup the smartphone has access to the Work-IT computer that has the
NiteaService operating, this can be or through Wi-Fi or through 4G
1. Open
Scan-IT app in your smartphone, then tap on (
+)
2. Tap on scan to open the camera and scan the QR code from your PC.
3. After scanning is succeeded you'll get the next screen. Tap on
Save. then tap on service that you made it to select it.
4. Login with the user account supplied, then tap on
LOGIN
10. Setting up Work-IT App ( management application )
Download the HGM Work-IT app from the Google Playstore, use the search bar and use the words "HGM Work-IT " to find the app
Make sure that during setup the smartphone has access to the Work-IT computer that has the NiteaService operating, this can be or through Wi-Fi or through 4G
1. Open Work-IT App in your smartphone, then tap on (+)
2. Tap on scan to open the camera and scan the QR code from your PC.
3. After scanning is succeeded you'll get the next screen. Tap on Save. then tap on service that you made it to select it.
4. Login with the user account supplied, then tap on LOGIN
11. Setting up Check-IT app
Download the
Check-IT app
from the Google Playstore, use the search bar and use the words
"Nitea or Scan-IT "
to find the app
Make sure that during setup the smartphone has access to the Work-IT computer that has the NiteaService operating, this can be or through Wi-Fi or through 4G
1. Open the
Check-IT app and fill in the following details.
Name : random profile name
Server URL : http://
IP adress/checkit/
This is the static IP address of the Work-IT which have the database and NiteaService installed
Language : language choice
Username : Work-IT Username
Password: Work-IT Password
and
Save in the right top corner
2. Go back to the main screen in the app by pressing the arrow in left top corner a couple of times
12. Setting up Protect-IT app
Download the
Protect-IT app from the Google Playstore, use the search bar and use the words
"Nitea or Scan-IT " to find the app
Make sure that during setup the smartphone has access to the Work-IT computer that has the
NiteaService operating, this can be or through Wi-Fi or through 4G
1. Open the
Protect-IT app and fill in the following details.
Name : random profile name
Server URL : http://
IP adress/protectit/
This is the static IP address of the Work-IT which have the database and NiteaService installed
Language : language choice
Username : Work-IT Username
Password: Work-IT Password
