iSii Compact: How fogging is working?

1. Standard control

The settings via the Aquaservice account:

Fogging is switched on when the measured RH is lower than: RH setpoint - release: relative humidity difference =  80 - 5 = 75%
Fogging is switched off again when the measured RH is higher than: RH setpoint = 80%

The cycle time is 1 minute. The pulse time is 25% of 1 minute = 15 seconds.
So every 1 minute there is a pulse of 15 seconds and a pause of 45 seconds.

The settings via the Aqua account:

2. Extension of the standard control

When the customer wants to control the fogging relative to RH and temperature than the standard control has to be extended.

1. Disable the standard control by changing the "release: relative humidity difference" setting to 100

2. Change the setting "control release" to a Setpoint Strategy and add a relative humidity influence

In the example above the base value of the setting "control release" = 0. That means OFF.
When the value of this setting becomes 100 by an influence that means ON.

The fogging is switched on when the measured RH is lower than 75%
Fogging is switched off again when the measured RH is higher than 80%

The fogging control is now working exactly the same as the standard fogging control.

3. Add also a greenhouse temperature influence.

In the example above the base value of the setting "control release" = 0. That means OFF.
When the value of this setting becomes 100 by an influence that means ON.

The fogging is switched on when the measured RH is lower than 75%
OR the fogging is switched on when the measured greenhouse temperature is higher than 26 °C.

Fogging is switched off again when the measured RH is higher than 80% AND the greenhouse temperature is lower than 24 °C.

4, Add another relative humidity influence

In the example above the base value of the setting "control release" = 0. That means OFF.
When the value of this setting becomes 100 by an influence that means ON.

The fogging is switched on when the measured RH is lower than 75%
OR the fogging is switched on when the measured greenhouse temperature is higher than 26 °C.

Fogging is switched off again when the measured RH is higher than 80% AND the greenhouse temperature is lower than 24 °C.
OR when the RH is higher than 95%. This is to prevent it from becoming too humid, if the fogging can not sufficiently reduce the temperature.

5. Add a radiation measurement influence

OR when the outside radiation measurement is too low. This is to prevent it from becoming too humid when there is not sufficient radiation.
