How to program a cart tag without using the USB reader.

Answer
Follow these steps to program your cart tags.

There are two ways to program the cart tag without the USB Reader.

(a) - Through the weighbridge itself, you must first enter tare mode by pressing .000 on the weighbridge's terminal, then weigh the cart, then enter the cart number, and finally press Print (at indicator).


(b)- By copying the tag data from the hardware page, by following these steps:

1. Get the cart tag in front of the antenna.

Keep in mind that the antenna can only read a tag once. 
If the same tags need to be 'read' by the antenna again, then there should be another tag held against it first.

2. Go to the hardware page where 'Cart recognition' is.
Usually, it is: 'http://localhost/niteahardwareservice/'. But this can be different.

3. Turn off the 'Auto refresh page', and then copy the 'Code' of the tag that has just been read.


By having the 'Auto refresh page' turned off, we are able to easily copy this code.


4. Open 'Work-IT' and go to 'Tags'.



Select 'Show & edit tags of type:' and set it on 'Cart'.


Then you will get a list of all the existing 


Now we can change the 'Code (hexadecimal) of an existing cart, or we can create a new cart.

5. To create a new cart, select 'Add new tags'. 
Fill in the information for the Cart.



And after selecting 'Add', you can hold the next 'cart tag' against the antenna, refresh the page and create a new cart number with a copy of that tag code.


6. After adding all the cart tags, select 'Save'.





7. Then go to the 'Cart' screen to link the tags to the carts.


And create a 'New' cart and the ‘weight’ should be the tare weight. (If all the other existing carts have 0.00 weight, then leave this cart at 0.00 weight as well)

Then 'Save'.



8. Then to synchronize the new 'Cart tags' with the antenna, simply 'Trigger all' in the 'Synchronization info' page on the hardware webpage.
