How to reset Scan-IT and update the phone?

Answer
Resetting the app:

1. Hold the Scan-IT app until a menu pops up, here you can select 'App info'.




2. 'Force stop' the app incase it's running in the background and then head to 'Storage'.




3. Inside the storage menu, select the opion to 'Clear cache' first, after pressing this you can press 'Clear Data'  aswell.
You could also check the version of the app here to see if it is the latest version, otherwise download the latest HGM Scan-IT in the playstore.




4. Now open the Scan-IT app. If everything was done correctly you should have to enter everything in again.
To add a Work-IT server press the + at the bottom right and then it asks for a name and url which can be easily filled in by using the barcode button to scan a QR code which we are going to create in the next step.




5. Go to the Work-IT client and head to 'Employees' , 'Application profiles' and then 'QR code generator'.

      


6.  In this 'QR code generator' fill in the service name you would like to have and the IP-Address should be automatically filled in. (As an example, I'm using 'HGM' as a service name)




7. Now use the phone to scan this QR code and the information should be filled automatically.

8. Double click on the just made service and login using your Scan-IT account.




9. Select the profile you want to use. (photo profile is an example)




Updating the phone:

To update the phone, go to settings and scroll to the bottom until you see 'Software-Update', in there you should see an option to check for updates and to install them.
