How do I setup Soehnle 3010 scales with the Work-IT /  Pack-IT Software.



Answer


The Pack-IT software is needed to communicate with the software. 

The Soehlne 3010 are usually delivered with an ethernet module, this way you can setup the scale in your network environment with static IP addresses. 
This way the scale doesn't need a data converter to convert the serial weight information it gathers to ethernet, the scale with an ethernet module converters the serial data to ethernet itself. 
This prevents you need additional hardware such like data converters. 

Please find the attached manual how to change the settings in the scale in order to be able to communicate with the Work-IT software, this will only possible if the additional module Pack-IT is part of the license.
