How to add a measurement and actuation to a visualization?

 Answer

Once the background has been added you can start adding the various items. This article describes how a measurement and actuation can be added to the visualization.

1.      Click on 'Group'.

2.      Browse to an item from the group you want to add and select it by clicking on it. Then click on 'next'.


3.      Select the correct group and click on 'Finish'.


4.      A group has now been added. The various items can be add to this group now. Click on 'Item' for this.

5.      Browse to the items you want to add and select it by adding the check mark. If all items are selected you can click on 'Next'.

6.      In the case of measurements and actuations, select 'Display Control' and then click on 'Next'.


7.      The items have now been added. To make the item name visible, click on 'Play'.

8.      Click on the edit mode button to place the items in the right location. The 'Design mode' can be opened in two ways, with or without a grid. By holding 'Ctrl' and then opening the edit mode, it is opened without a grid. By clicking on the edit mode button without holding 'Ctrl', the edit mode is opened with a grid.

9.      Move the group first to the right place, and put the item here in the right location.

10.      Click on 'Play' to turn the visualization on.
