Before the irrigation can start, valves must be connected.
Hand start
An irrigation cycle is started by hand as follows:
- Click in the checkbox
- Then click the green check mark
- The crop section will start
- The connected valves will be started in succession.
Hand stop
An ongoing irrigation cycle can be stopped as follows:
- Click in the checkbox
- Click the green check mark
- The cycle is stopped.
Daily repeat based on time
To automatically repeat irrigation cycles every day, do as follows:
Between the start and stop time an irrigation cycle is started after the expiry of the maximum interval time.
Example:
An irrigation cycle every 2 hours every day between 08.00 and 16.00 hrs.
Daily repeat based on time and radiation sum
Irrigation cycles can be repeated daily if the following conditions are met:
- Minimum interval time has expired
- Radiation sum has been reached
- Current time is during the day period
As soon as the minimum interval time has expired AND the radiation sum has been reached AND the time condition is met, an irrigation cycle will start.
If the weather is not very sunny, the irrigation the irrigation cycle will start after expiry of the maximum interval time.
Example:
On a cloudy day between 08.00 and 16.00 hrs an irrigation cycle every 2 hours.
On a sunny day an irrigation cycle every 100 J/cm2 if the minimum interval time of 20 minutes has expired
Every 2 hours an irrigation cycle on a cloudy day:
The minimum interval time of 20 minutes during which no irrigation cycle may be started on a sunny day.
On a sunny day an irrigation cycle every 100 J/cm2 if the minimum interval time has expired AND the current time is within the time period.
