IIVO - Connect PAR-FAR sensor on Modbus

  


    Update Q100 to latest firmware

    Inform the customer that critical processes (e.g. CHP, lighting) must be set to manual operation during the update.
    1. See Quick-Start IIVO on PartnerWiki for update Q100 head station:

    2. Download zip file from PartnerWiki
    3. Unzip zip file
    4. Sometimes there is an execution policy that prevents the selected file from executing. This can be changed by opening a command prompt window (CMD) as an administrator and running the following command: powershell -command "& {Set-ExecutionPolicy -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted -Force}"
    5. Connect your laptop to the head station via 172.18.25.1, with subnet mask 255.255.0.0
    6. Start the Q100UpdateTool 
    7. Select for example Q100_Upgrade FWto22 SWto1.1.0.8 (Newest)

    Update IIVO to 5.15

    Inform the customer that critical processes (e.g. CHP, lighting) must be set to manual operation during the update.
    1. Server update.yagni.biz
    2. Click on Search for updates
    3. Click on Create update backup
    4. Click on Install update

    Add new terminal

    2. Add terminal 750-652 - Modbus RTU converter 
    3. Change the properties 19200 baud, Even parity, 8 databits,  1 stopbit

    Connecting PAR-FAR sensor

    2. Connect the PAR-FAR sensor

      If the device has also been added (see below) then:
      - LEDs A and E light up continuously
      - LED B and C flash (transmit/receive)

    Add device

    1. License must be adjusted (Max modbus device types)
    2. Add the device
      1. For example, use the IP address of the headstation 172.18.5.1. for 1st Data Connector
      2. Port for 1st modbus terminal 1502, and then continue numbering
    3. Set STATUS to ON
    4. Then Add node, address 1 (address 0 is broadcast)
      1. Then PAR, Far-red and heater status become available
    5. Connect PAR and Far-red to Custom simple/Custom measurement or PAR Crop Measurement 1 and Measurement 2
      PAR 0...4000 µmol/m²/s
      Far-red 0...1000 µmol/m²/s
