How to add an active visualization picture?

 Answer

Various types of items can be added to a visualization. This article describes how an active symbol can be added (available from version 9).

There is a library of images that correspond to the status of the control. For example, a pump can run, stand in pause or give an alarm, all these statuses are visible.

1.      Click on 'Group'.

2.      To find the active items more easily the search function can be used, fill in 'visual' and click on 'Find'. Select 'visualization picture code' of the control group you want to use and click 'Next'.

3.      Select the correct group and click on 'Finish'.

4.      The group has been added. Click on 'Item'.

5.      Type 'Visual' in the search field and click on 'Find'. Then put a check mark in front of 'Visualization picture code' from the right group and click on 'Finish'.

6.     With the option 'Picture control' you can choose which direction the chosen item should shown. Note, when adding a silo or basin you have to choose 'Picture control unidirectional'. click on 'Finish' after selecting the right direction.

7.       Click on 'Play' and then again on 'design mode'. In this way the symbol becomes visible after adding.

8.       First the group has to be put in the right place, then the symbols can be placed neatly on the right size and place.
