How to use the vents to control humidity?



 Answer 


There is a special vent setting for humidity control: "lee side vent position: humidity".
With this setting it is possible to open the vent a little bit when the relative humidity (RH) is too high or the humidity deficit (HD) is too low.




Example 1: RH control



The vents start to open if the relative humidity is 5% higher than the set RH (in greenhouse climate settings).
If the RH is 10% higher than the set RH the vents will be 10% open.

For example when the set RH is 75%

Example 2: HD control



The vents start to open if the humidity deficit is 1 g/m3 lower than the set HD (in greenhouse climate settings).
If the HD is 2 g/m3 lower than the set HD the vents will be 10% open.
