Answer
Follow these steps to set up the Xpass2.

First the xPass2 needs to be added to the firewall ports, it can be possible that this has been already done by Hoogendoorn.

1. Go to ‘’Windows Defender Firewall with Advanced Security’’.

2. In the ‘’Inbound Rules’’ and ‘’Outbound Rules’’ you will find ‘Work-IT’ Ports which needs to be editted.

3. Begin with ‘’Inbound Rules’’ and go to ‘’Work-IT Ports’’ that's on TCP, then right click and select 'Properties', In the 'Protocol and Ports' window add the ports 51211 and 51212 to the ports at 'Local port:'.
If you can't find Work-IT ports, make a new rule.

4. Now go to 'Outbound Rules' and do the same again as wrtitten in Step 3.

6. Now connect the xPass 2with only PoE (Power over Ethernet) or use an ethernet cable without POE but with a power supply.

7. Press the 'Search' icon of Windows, and start 'Services'.

Now search for Nitea Hardware Service, and stop this service.

6. Now we are going to use the BioStar 2 program, Here you press on ‘Search devices’ and you will see the connected Xpasses showing up, press ‘connect’ for the xPass 2 that has to be set up. Then go to ‘Connected devices’.

9.  At 'Connected devices' press on 'Config' for the same xPass that has to be set up.
Then at the configuration of the Xpass2, set the 'Port' on 51212 and turn off DHCP. Then fill in your required IP-Adress and set the subnet and gateway accordingly.
Now make sure Server mode is turned on, the Server IP-Adress would then be the same as the IP the Work-IT service is running on and the 'Server port' would then also be 51212.

When your finished press 'Save'.

If you need the IP-Adress of the Work-IT service, then log in the Work-IT client.
Go to Tools, then application settings and you can find it at 'Services'.

10. Now login to the Work-IT client and go to 'Employees', and then go to 'Acces control'.
Here right click on 'Door' and select Add Door.

Then fill in the Name that you want for the Xpass and fill in the Device ID at the 'Device Name' field.

11. Then right click on 'Time schedule' and add a new one if you don't have one to use already.
First set the External ID on 2 or higher.
Then fill in the times for the Xpass2 to be active.

12. Go to 'Access group' and right click here aswell to create a new one.
it's important to set the External ID on '2' or higher.
Then below you can create a group with the time schedule that we created the step before this one.

13. Then save this configuration and go back to Services. Now stop the 'Nitea - Service'.

After it has stopped, start it again.
If you don't see it starting. press F5 to refresh the page.

14. Then start the 'Nitea - HardwareService' again and go to the Hardware service URL 'http://'WorkIT-IP'/niteahardwareservice/, At 'Synchronization info' press 'Trigger all'.

Then the Xpass2 should appear online.

Afterwards, you can put a sticker with the IP-Address and ID on the xPass2 right side.
